Synopsis:
Jim Broadbent and Hugh Laurie star in this comic drama based on Daisy Ashford's much-loved Victorian novel, written when the author was just nine years old : hence the mis-spelt title. The duo play gentlemen competing for the favours of a woman keen to move up in the world. Lyndsey Marshal co-stars as Ethel, with Love Actually's Bill Nighy, Geoffrey Palmer and Simon Russell-Beale.
