Wycliffe: Season 5 (1998)

• Season 5 Episode 6: Lands End

  An anonymous enemy goes all out to ruin Wycliffe by sending the police a batch of photos apparently showing the craggy-faced copper taking bribes. As soon as she hears the news, Lane puts an investigation into the deaths of two drug-dealers on hold and leaps to her boss's defence - risking her career in the process.   A blackmailer contaminates a jar of baby food in a local supermarket and promises it will not be the last if he does not receive payment.   The detective and his team investigate a series of bizarre events in the aftermath of a wedding which boasted a most unusual guest list. It transpires the couple had only met three weeks before the ceremony, and the honeymoon in a luxury hotel ends in a brutal killing. • Season 3 Episode 8: Old Habits

  When a woman is found strangled, the pathologist detects chilling similarities with a number of unsolved murders - prompting Wycliffe and his team to reopen 11-year-old case files. Detective drama, starring Jack Shepherd, Tim Wylton and Helen Masters

• Season 3 Episode 7: Last Judgement

  A magistrate acquaintance of Wycliffe is found hanged and all the evidence points to suicide - but the Cornish copper remains unconvinced and pursues an unorthodox investigation, eventually forcing the forensic pathologist to reconsider his verdict.
