  Danny begins to have a crisis about his age after hurting his back, and feels worse when a young hot-shot vet takes a shine to Alice. However, he later has a chance to prove himself when a lioness's life hangs in the balance.   In the aftermath of the storm, Rowan takes charge of the situation as the residents try to free Charlotte from beneath the rubble and rescue Danny, who has been left behind by Alice in her desperate search for help. Vanessa and Rowan use a helicopter to eventually spot him lying unconscious in the Bush and take him home. The next morning, Alice decides to pack her bags and leave, but a kiss from Danny might prompt a change of heart

  The residents visit an auction to buy a giraffe after their own is killed by lions, but when Danny and Alice argue over a suitable replacement, he is led into the arms of Vanessa.   Rosie and Max finally get married, but when she is injured by an elephant, a doctor has to give the newlyweds terrible news. Fatani declares his love to Vanessa, but realises she has feelings for Danny, while Alice has a risky solution for saving the elephant calf

  Vanessa fears for the animals at Mara during a rabies outbreak at the National Park. Danny is asked to bring it under control, but during the quarantine operation he clashes with feisty vet Alice, who has been sent to help him.   Danny and Evan find a sick hippo while on the run and they risk being discovered in their bid to save it.   New series of the African-set wildlife drama. A year has passed since the fire that engulfed Leopard's Den destroyed the animal hospital and left Danny a widower. • Season 3 Episode 8: EPISODE: 8

  As fire engulfs the hospital the race is on to save the house. With the water running out there seems to be no hope, but in a miraculous moment the wind changes direction, saving the Trevanion home but pushing the blaze and - the animals - towards the newly erected Mara fences. In an effort to free the wildlife Amy and Fantani set about tearing down the barriers, but in the panic Danny's cheetah makes off into the smoke with Sarah in pursuit. Last in series

  The arrival of his parents adds tension to Max and Rosie's wedding preparations, while Du Plessis discovers Kriel has reinstated the fences and plans to sell Mara. During the stag party celebrations a power cut provokes panic leading to the wedding dress being ruined and a near miss for Fatani. And, as the drought continues, the marriage ceremony is interrupted by a bushfire that threatens to engulf the animal hospital and the house

  A drought hits the region, forcing Danny to turn away the locals with sick animals and making Sarah determined to restart the hospital initiative, gaining help from Amy Kriel. Caroline's sister Judith visits the family and sets her sights on Du Plessis - but with an ulterior motive. Meanwhile, Rosie has doubts when Max presents her with a diamond engagement ring

  When Du Plessis discovers a rare white lion in the bush, the residents of Leopard's Den resolve to keep its existence a secret and are shock to later find it trapped in a snare.
