Actor and impressionist Alistair McGowan travels to Calcutta to research his family tree, uncovering his father's roots and the roles his father's side of the family played in the history of the British empire. His investigations reveal that his Anglo-Indian heritage goes back almost 250 years and that the last six generations of McGowans were all born in India
