Based on the Edwardian ghost story Oh, Whistle and I'll Come to You, My Lad, by MR James, and co-starring Lesley Sharp, Sophie Thompson and Gemma Jones (Madam Pomfrey in the Harry Potter films). Adapted by Neil Cross, who also created BBC1 crime series Luther
