    Dave and Vicky plan an end-of term party for Hillary, but soon discover her poor performance in gym class could stop her from graduating. Larry and Kenny plot their revenge on the older students who tormented them at school, and ask Mike to help them. Last in series

    Dave and Vicky attempt to put Larry on medication after he reveals he suffers from Social Anxiety Disorder, but he refuses and falls out with them in the process. Meanwhile, Vicky gives Hillary some sex education after Dave gets the idea she may be planning to lose her virginity

    Dave lands himself in trouble with the law by taking the blame for Hillary's reckless driving - and to make matters worse, she shows no gratitude for his selfless act. Meanwhile, Vicky forgets to register Larry for Shakespeare camp. Last in series

  • Season 1 Episode 21: Runaways

    Larry runs away from home, prompting Vicky to question her parenting skills. To make matters worse, Dave makes a disastrous attempt to support Hillary over a fight with a friend, and wonders whether he too could be a bit more considerate in future

  • Season 1 Episode 20: Snow Job

    Hillary sprains her ankle while skiing and ends up in the hospital, where her parents discover she's been lying to them both. Larry anxiously awaits a phone call from a girl - and Mike takes advantage of the situation to get a date with an older woman. Michael Rapaport stars

  • Season 1 Episode 19: The West Palm Beach Story

    Dave arranges a family trip to Florida to see his mother and father - unaware Mike hates flying, Vicky can't stand his parents, and Hillary has her own reasons for wanting to stay at home. Michael Rapaport stars

    Dave is unsure of Mike's motives for wanting a bar mitzvah, suspecting he is only after the party and gifts. However, he and Vicky eventually decide to reward the youngster's dedicated research into Hebrew and genuine interest in Judaism with a coming-of-age ceremony

    An attractive saleswoman flirts with Dave at work, convincing him he is still attractive to younger women. However, he soon discovers she was checking him out on behalf of her mother. Vicky visits Mike's class for Career Day. Michael Rapaport and Anita Barone star

    Mike appears to be in low spirits so Dave and Vicky try to cheer him up, but it transpires he's been taking them for a ride to gain attention. Larry begins to feel left out and becomes upset, while Hillary addresses a delicate topic in class

    Double bill. Dave finds a pregnancy test in the bin and wrongly assumes Hillary is pregnant. However, he soon learns that it belongs to Vicky, who has stopped taking the Pill, since she lost her job and slipped into depression. Mike concocts a scheme to improve his grades, and Larry enters a spelling competition

    One of Vicky's college friends comes to visit - much to the dismay of Dave, who remembers he had a fling with her, and prays she will keep their liaison to herself. Comedy, starring Michael Rapaport

    Part two of two. Hillary is caught shoplifting, but the excuse Dave uses to get her off the hook lands him in even more trouble. Mike is suspended from school for harassing a female student, while Vicky's boss decides to quit - and leaves her arch-enemy in charge

  • Season 1 Episode 11: It's a Living

    Double bill. Vicky decides she should do more with her life and applies for a job in the city. At first, Dave is unimpressed with the idea, but changes his mind once he finds out how much she would earn. Meanwhile, Mike is suspended from school for harassing a female student, Hillary is caught shoplifting and Vicky has a terrible day at work

  • Season 1 Episode 10: Breaking Up Is Hard to Do

    Dave is worried Grandma Betty is spending too much money on her new boyfriend, and tries to split the pair up. He then helps Vicky devise a plan to end Hillary and Keith's relationship by demonstrating how hard it is to raise a child

  • Season 1 Episode 9: Dave Get Your Gun

    Dave becomes disturbed by Larry's lack of interest in traditional masculine pursuits, and begins to suspect his son is gay. Meanwhile, Hillary hits another girl and is unceremoniously dumped by Taye. Michael Rapaport stars

    Double bill. Dave grows tired of being ignored by the kids and decides to enforce rigorous discipline, threatening to smack anyone who steps out of line.
