Synopsis:
Heavily pregnant and facing an uncertain future, supersleuth Cordelia Gray reluctantly accepts a case from her old adversary Chief Superintendent Fergusson, who hires her to spy on his daughter's boyfriend, a local GP. Discovering more than a few skeletons in his closet, she has barely had time to file a report before a murder takes place, giving her a much bigger headache to contend with.
