While in jail, Jason is approached by anti-vampire church the Fellowship of the Sun, and Tara remains unsure as to whether she can trust Maryann. However, she enjoys living in her luxurious home, and her spirits are lifted when she meets another temporary resident, nicknamed Eggs

• Season 1 Episode 11: To Love Is to Bury

  Bill completes Jessica's transformation into a vampire - but when he reveals what has happened, her reaction surprises him. Tara is arrested for drink driving and a stranger bails her out when her mother refuses to help, while the police arrest Jason after the serial killer strikes again

• Season 1 Episode 10: I Don't Wanna Know

  Sookie suspects Sam is the serial killer, but he insists he is not and shares his secret with her. Elsewhere, Bill waits for the Magister to decide his fate after being accused of murdering Longshadow and Tara is disturbed to find out that Miss Jeanette is not the woman she thought she was. Following her exorcism, Lettie Mae is a new person and Tara is so pleased with the transformation that she considers having an exorcism herself.   Bill is upset and spurred into action by Sookie's revelation concerning the abuse she suffered as a child. Jason travels to Fangtasia searching for V-Juice, Tara reluctantly agrees to pay for an exorcism for her mother, and three vampires turn up at Merlotte's to make Bill join their group.   Sookie struggles with her emotions when her grandmother becomes the latest victim of the serial killer, and she refuses to leave the house, despite pleas from Sam and Bill.   Following Sookie's discovery of Dawn's dead body, Jason becomes the prime suspect.
