  The authorities pull the plug on Eric Crawford's investigation, leaving him trying to trace Jacob Clarke's daughter Lisa and Jesse Keys' son Charlie. However, the pair are already targeted for abduction, and meet aboard an alien craft. Six years later, Lisa gives birth to a child who exhibits the same mysterious powers as her half-alien grandfather - which are of great interest to the government

• Season 1 Episode 5: Maintenance

  It's 1980 and Eric Crawford is continuing his father's investigation into alien abductions in a top-secret facility in the Nevada desert. With the help of head scientist Dr Chet Wakeman, he hopes to get answers from Jesse Keys, who has been living quietly with his wife and son, and Jacob Clarke, who has returned home to say goodbye to his dying mother - leading to a catastrophic stand-off between the military, the victims and a few unexpected visitors

  Owen Crawford's career is destroyed when the crop circles and landing strip he maintained were irrefutable evidence of extraterrestrial invasion turn out to be a prank. His sons rally around him, but both have hidden agendas - especially journalist Sam, who heads for Alaska to find out more about the aliens. Jesse Keys returns from Vietnam as a broken man hooked on heroin and haunted by the past.

  Colonel Owen Crawford fights to save his top-secret UFO project from being cancelled by the president and realises his only hope is to find Jacob Clarke, who has already exhibited unusual powers. His luck changes when he encounters Russell and Jesse Keys, who offer themselves up for examination in an attempt to stop the alien abductions
