• Season 1 Episode 9: The Right Fit

  In the final challenge, the remaining contestants have to design a magazine cover before the winning assistant is chosen.

• Season 1 Episode 7: Model Behavior

  The pace of the competition proves too much for one player in this episode, when the contestants have to design a fashion layout. Plus, supermodel Maggie Rizer challenges them to have a hotel room prepared to her specifications.

  This episode takes a look back at the first five episodes of the series, and includes some previously unseen film of the budding fashion journalists committing some style crimes and having breakdowns.

  At a black-tie event, the teams must accurately identify each of the guests coming through the reception line, providing concise, anecdotal information to Anne.

  The budding fashion journalists are taken to an exclusive Manhattan boutique and are given $1,000 to choose an outfit for Anne Slowey. Later, they divide into teams to style an Elle photo shoot for designer Tory Burch, with one group opting for a Sixties housewife theme, and the other an avant-garde concept, before two of the contestants are eliminated

  The budding fashion journalists are challenged to plan a party for Anne Slowey's niece and have to pitch their ideas to the demanding 10-year-old. Later, they create a trend page based around a mother and daughter duo they find at the celebrations

  For their next challenge, the 10 remaining contestants dress mannequins in specific items of clothing before scouring Chinatown for a 'hidden gem' to write about. However, in a dramatic turn of events, one of the participants suffers a panic attack and ends up being taken to hospital

• Season 1 Episode 1: EPISODE: 1

  New series in which 11 budding fashion journalists compete to win an editorial position at Elle magazine, under the watchful eye of fashion news director Anne Slowey. In the first episode, the contestants must assemble the perfect breakfast, restyle themselves for the office and design a page for the publication before one of the hopefuls is eliminated
