    When Clark wonders whether the world would be better off if he had not gone to Smallville, Jor-El shows him what life would have been like if he had never existed, and tells him he must stop Brainiac from achieving his nefarious goals

    Clark searches for Braniac, as he is the only one who can reverse Lara's condition, and Chloe hacks into the government's computer system.     Lana assimilates Clark's powers when she absorbs them during a lightning storm and uses them to break into Lex's safe and steal incriminating evidence. Clark tries to rescue his arch enemy from Lana when she decides to pursue him after failing to get the Daily Planet to accept the stolen evidence

  • Season 7 Episode 6: Lara

    Kara is captured after breaking into a lab in Washington to look for her missing crystal. While being interrogated with a memory-revealing serum containing kryptonite, she relives a trip to Earth from the past when she followed Lara, Clark's biological mother, to the Kents's farm

  • Season 7 Episode 5: Action

    A movie is shot in the town and Clark uses his powers to save the lead actress from a runaway car, unaware that somebody else is watching him and is about to become his biggest fan. Meanwhile, Lionel's fate is revealed. Starring Tom Welling, John Glover and guest Christina Milian

    Chloe takes an interest in Dr Curtis Knox's claim that he can cure meteor freaks, and change their lives, although it transpires that he may have another secret. Meanwhile, Kara forms an alliance with Jimmy, and Lana secretly watches Lex. Guest starring Dean Cain

    Kara enters the Miss Sweet Corn Pageant, despite objections from Clark. While Lex shows an interest in her, three fellow contestants find out about her powers and decide to use them to steal a priceless time capsule. Starring Laura Vandervoort and Tom Welling

    Clark Kent meets Kara, but decides to leave Smallville instead of facing life without Lana. The youthful adventurer goes to the Fortress of Solitude to start training as a superhero, but discovers that his cousin's father is dangerous and that he must return to Smallville.   • Season 7 Episode 1: Bizarro

    Clark Kent's fight with Bizarro, the last spectre from the Phantom Zone, causes the dam to burst its banks. Lex Luthor is rescued from a submerged police car by the young adventurer's cousin, Kara, whilst Lois's attempts to save Chloe prove futile. Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum star

Smallville: Season 6 (2006 - 2007)

  • Season 6 Episode 22: Phantom

    Clark discovers Lana's reason for marrying Lex, who in turn attempts to use DNA harvested from the last phantom as a power source for his super soldiers. Lois is fatally injured, and Chloe's power comes to light. Last in series

  • Season 6 Episode 21: Prototype

    Lex tries to create a supersoldier from a man supposedly killed in combat in Afghanistan. When a senator threatens to expose the project, he becomes the first target. Lois inadvertently witnesses the politician's execution, and soon finds herself on the run from the murderous mutant. Starring Tom Welling, with Erica Durance and Tahmoh Penikett

  • Season 6 Episode 20: Noir

    Lana is shot after attending a secret meeting with Lionel and Jimmy is knocked out while looking at photos of their rendez-vous. While unconscous, he finds himself imagining life in Smallville during the 1940s, in which Clark is a reporter for the Planet, Lana is a femme fatale and Lois is a singer in a bar owned by Lionel. Drama, starring Aaron Ashmore, Tom Welling and Kristin Kreuk

  • Season 6 Episode 19: Nemesis

    Lex is trapped in his own lab by a distraught woman who claims he kidnapped her husband and threatens to kill him unless he reveals the location of her missing spouse. Unforseen circumstances cause Clark to fail in a rescue bid, and the arch-rivals become trapped together, forced to overcome their mutual hatred if they are to survive

  • Season 6 Episode 18: Progeny

    Lex discovers Chloe's mum has been hiding her special abilities, and forces her to help him in exchange for her daughter's life. However, his plan goes awry when the wily parent demonstrates a few tricks of her own to escape from his clutches. Drama, guest starring Lynda Carter

  • Season 6 Episode 17: Combat

    Clark and Chloe find a man named Titan who escaped from the Zone and is the star of a secret fight club that broadcasts its deathmatches on the Internet. Lois smells a story and decides to investigate, but finds herself in the ring as a combatant. Clark enters the contest intending to take on Titan, but ends up facing a different opponent

  • Season 6 Episode 15: Freak

    Lex employs the services of a boy named Tobias, who was blinded by the meteor shower but left with the ability to identify those with powers. When Lana becomes aware of the young man, she worries he will reveal Clark's true identity, and attempts to bribe him with the offer of a cornea transplant - unaware that Tobias has plans of his own

  • Season 6 Episode 14: Trespass

    Lana discovers she has a stalker, which leads her to a surprising hideout, and Chloe is forced to face up to her feelings for Clark when Jimmy breaks up with her, believing her affections lie with the superhero. Lex inflicts further heartache on Clark by presenting him with an invitation to his wedding, reminding the young man of his lost love. Drama, starring Kristin Kreuk and Tom Welling

  • Season 6 Episode 13: Crimson

  • Season 6 Episode 12: Labyrinth

    Clark wakes up in a psychiatric hospital, where the doctors attempt to convince him that his life as a Kryptonian is actually part of a schizophrenic delusion. While he refuses to believe the story put to him, the young superhero cannot find any evidence to disprove it - until a mysterious patient helps to point the way.   • Season 6 Episode 11: Justice

While Chloe investigates the reporter, Lois asks for Clark's help to investigate the mysterious Green Arrow bandit, whom she suspects may be a heavily disguised Oliver Queen

  • Season 6 Episode 9: Subterranean

    An illegal immigrant comes to Clark for help in escaping from a nearby farm where he's working, revealing that the site is home to a sinister secret. When it transpires that previous would-be escapees have vanished during their attempts, the superhero vows to investigate, but is given just 24 hours before Martha keeps her promise to inform the police. Tom Welling stars, with Tyler Posey and Annette O'Toole

  • Season 6 Episode 8: Static

    An escapee from the Phantom Zone surfaces in Seattle, where he promptly kills a ship's crew, forcing Clark to confront the man, who has taken to eating the bones of his victims. Meanwhile, a patient at LuthorCorp Labs breaks out, exacting revenge on Lex by trapping him in a dimension where he is fully aware of those around him, but is invisible to them

  • Season 6 Episode 7: Rage

    The Green Arrow begins behaving strangely after being shot while intervening in an attempted carjacking. Deciding to investigate, Clark and Chloe discover that the superhero has been taking a powerful drug to accelerate his recovery, but is experiencing a number of dangerous side-effects.   • Season 6 Episode 6: Fallout

    Following their escape from the Phantom Zone, Raya arrives in Smallville to visit Clark. The pair grow close, and she reveals how to repair the Fortress of Solitude. Unbeknown to them, however, the recently freed Baern is on the warpath, bent on exacting revenge on Clark and his friend for the time he spent in the Zone.   • Season 5 Episode 22: Vessel

    Fine releases a lethal virus, demanding that Clark free General Zod in exchange for the antidote. Lionel channels Jor-El to advise on how the menace can be defeated, and Lex awakens to surprising new powers. Last in series, starring Tom Welling, with James Marsters and Michael Rosenbaum

  • Season 5 Episode 21: Oracle

    Clark is visited at the graveyard by Jonathan's ghost, who warns him he must kill Lionel to save the planet. Meanwhile, Lex creates a vaccine for Fine's lethal virus. Tom Welling stars, with John Schneider, James Marsters and John Glover

  • Season 5 Episode 20: Fade

    Clark unwittingly saves the life of a hit-man, who is understandably overwhelmed with gratitude. Revealing a hidden ability to become invisible, he sets out to return the favour - by killing Lex. Tom Welling stars, with Alexander Scarlis and Michael Rosenbaum

  • Season 5 Episode 19: Mercy

    Lionel is taken prisoner by a masked villain who forces him to play elaborate games for the ultimate prize - staying alive. Unfortunately for Clark, Martha picks the wrong time to call at the Luthor house, and also finds herself at the mystery man's mercy

  • Season 5 Episode 18: Fragile

    Clark befriends an orphan girl whose telekinetic powers have made her the prime suspect in the fatal stabbing of her foster mother. Meanwhile, Lex and Lana grow closer - much to Chloe's dismay. Series star Tom Welling directs this episode

  • Season 5 Episode 17: Void

    Lana visits a maverick medical student and asks to be injected with a kryptonite-based serum which makes subjects flatline, but allows them to see dead relatives. Arriving to rescue her, Clark is also injected - leading to an encounter with Jonathan, who issues him a warning

  • Season 5 Episode 16: Hypnotic

    Clark becomes enchanted by a beautiful seductress who uses her magical powers to manipulate minds. She orders him to kill Lex, but he must first track down his target while he is travelling to confront Professor Fine in Honduras

  • Season 5 Episode 15: Cyborg

    An experimental cyborg escapes from LuthorCorp and accidentally puts Lana in hospital. Clark confronts the robot, and discovers he's a former football player whom everyone thought had died in a car crash - including his old girlfriend. Meanwhile, Martha discovers that someone else knows about the explosion at Lex's warehouse - and is using the knowledge to blackmail her. Tom Welling stars

  • Season 5 Episode 14: Tomb

    Chloe is plagued by visions of a girl in distress, but her psychiatrist is convinced she is hallucinating. While investigating with Clark, she discovers the skeleton of the youngster - whose spirit mysteriously passes into her body. Meanwhile, Lois is abducted from her flat.     Lex is trapped in his manor by two bogus police officers, who will stop at nothing to find out the location of the Kryptonian spaceship - even if it means taking Lana prisoner.     The senatorial race turns nasty as Jonathan receives an anonymous message telling him to drop out - and is later found hanging upside down in the barn.     Lex is shot by a gang of thugs and ends up in hospital - where his mother visits him in a dream and shows him how things could be if he moved away from his father's influence.
