The Stolen Child
Jack takes charge of the investigation into the disappearance of a two-year-old boy in Connemara, three days after a countywide search is scaled down. As the case unfolds, the garda discovers his new lover Dr Maggie Hunter has concealed information about the missing boy's parents on the grounds of doctor-patient confidentiality. Meanwhile, the past catches up with Jack's father Gerry during a national tribunal into allegations of police corruption.
