Shipman

Fact-based drama telling the shocking story of how Harold Shipman got away with killing his patients for so long before detectives were alerted to his heinous crimes when he attempted to forge the will of one of his victims. He was arrested and charged with the murder of 15 elderly people and is currently serving life. The film draws on the testimony of senior police officers and members of the community involved in the case and explores the deceptive aura of respectability surrounding Shipman behind which he sheltered, as well as the diligent detective work which brought him to justice.
