Sean Bean puts on the tattered rifleman's uniform of Richard Sharpe and returns for more derring-do. This time he and faithful crony Harper begin their latest tour of duty by uncovering top-level corruption in the Army. Reporting their findings leads to attempts on their lives, so they fake their own deaths and re-enlist under new identities in an attempt to expose the culprits
