  • Season 2 Episode 16: Wayne's World 3: Killer Shark

    Stark's dark past catches up with him when an old enemy, serial killer Wayne Callison, escapes from prison and kidnaps the lawyer's daughter Julie. The attorney finds himself facing the trial of his life when he is challenged by the murderer to defend his record as a father in front of the terrified teenager.     A talented songstress is found dead after attending a record company party at the Playboy Mansion. While gathering evidence against a record producer the singer had been having an affair with, Reyes becomes intimately involved with a key witness.   • Season 2 Episode 14: Leaving Las Vegas

    Stark is lured by the offer of big money to defend a Las Vegas-based businessman against a murder charge, but soon finds himself in a moral dilemma after it emerges his client has built his empire on the profits of crime.     The attorney investigates the killing of a rock star's long-time friend, but finds his progress hindered by the singer and his entourage, who appear to know far more than they are prepared to reveal. A member of the group provides new information which leads to an arrest, but the trial is put in jeopardy when the prosecution's key witness is discredited

  • Season 2 Episode 10: Every Breath You Take

    Jessica feels responsible when a female tennis star is found dead shortly after the release from prison of a stalker, convicted of attacking her five years earlier. The case appears to be solved when the prime suspect admits to the crime, but forensic results cast doubt on his confession. A re-investigation leads to the arrest of someone with close links to the victim, although the trial is jeopardised by the covert method in which DNA evidence was obtained. Holly Valance guest stars

    Stark suspects Wayne Callison, a killer he once failed to bring to justice, is guilty of murder after a woman's body is found in a park. The attorney becomes fixated with charging him and dismisses the idea that a copycat has been at work. Callison again defends himself in court and wins the upper hand when a witness exposes Stark's meddling - forcing Devlin to take over the case. Last in the series, starring James Woods and Jeri Ryan

  • Season 1 Episode 21: Strange Bedfellows

    A boy who disappeared four years ago is found living with a man who claims the 11-year-old had sought refuge from an abusive home. Stark believes the youngster was kidnapped and wants him to testify in court. However, problems arise when he goes missing again, with evidence suggesting he suffered suspicious injuries while living with his parents some years earlier

  • Season 1 Episode 20: Fall From Grace

    The murder of a computer scientist leads the team to a pair of mobster brothers already under investigation for fraud, who the victim and an accomplice had cheated out of money in LA's casinos. Stark discovers a leak at the DA's office has gained the suspects an advantage at the trial and plans to tackle their lawyer's underhand tactics using a cunning trick.     A judge's wife is stabbed to death and the team draws up a list of possible killers from recently released criminals. However, her husband's whereabouts come under scrutiny after a pool of blood is found in his car. After the murder weapon is retrieved covered in the fingerprints of another man, Stark uncovers evidence of a shady deal in which the culprit's cousin was granted early release from prison

  • Season 1 Episode 14: Starlet Fever

    A Hollywood actress plunges to her death when her car is driven off the road and into a canyon. The team suspects the paparazzi gathered at the scene had been chasing the star, as she had a long-running feud with the media. However, evidence reveals the other vehicle was owned by her stepfather and manager, whom she had been under pressure to dismiss - giving Stark a fresh perspective on the case.   • Season 1 Episode 13: Teacher's Pet

    Stark works on the case of a murdered billionaire real-estate developer whose messy divorce from his second wife was making tabloid headlines before he died.   • Season 1 Episode 12: Wayne's World

    A woman survives an attack by a man accused of murdering five other women. A car she spotted on her escape leads the team to the killer - a college teacher whose previous victims' bodies are unearthed at his brother's home.     Stark is forced to speed up an investigation into an arms dealer when the FBI claim his surveillance is interfering with a bigger case of theirs.     A married socialite who happens to be one of Jessica's best friends fatally shoots her ex-convict lover and claims it was in self-defence. The suspect reveals she shot him after her attempts to break off their affair turned violent, but Stark is unconvinced.     New recruit Isaac Wright's first case sees him investigating the murder of a deputy district attorney whose body was found alongside that of a prostitute. It soon transpires that the law enforcer was working to secure a promotion by using information on the woman's drug-dealer boyfriend, prompting Stark to suspect the pair were silenced - until he learns the hooker was targeted by her own pimp

  • Season 1 Episode 8: Love Triangle

    A black girl is hit by a car and killed after a party attended largely by white students. Although the crime initially appears to be racially motivated, Stark learns the victim was having an affair with her friend's partner, who he brings in for questioning. However, just as the team gains a confession from the boy, the case is turned on its head. Drama, starring James Woods

  • Season 1 Episode 7: Deja Vu All Over Again

    Stark investigates the kidnap and murder of an eight-year-old girl, which he believes may be linked to a similar case in 1991, raising the possibility that the wrong man was accused the first time round.
