    Jerry's car is stolen but the thief who took it makes the mistake of answering the car phone. Kramer gets a small role in a Woody Allen film, and George gets a job parking cars

    Jerry, Elaine and George stop for a quick Chinese meal before going to see a movie. While they wait to be seated, Jerry meets a woman whose name he can't recall, George fights to use the public telephone and Elaine's hunger sends her close to insanity.     Jerry goes through a box of his late uncle's possessions, which George is delighted to find contains a statue similar to one his parents used to own, which he broke as a child. He decides to give the heirloom to his mum and dad as a surprise gift, but his hopes seem to have been dashed when it gets stolen

  • Season 2 Episode 5: The Apartment

    Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) encourages Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) to move into the vacant apartment in his building. With Jason Alexander.

  • Season 2 Episode 4: The Phone Message

    George receives a tempting offer from a woman he is dating, but inadvertently leaves a hostile message on her answering machine, and requests Jerry's help in swapping the tape before she hears it

  • Season 2 Episode 3: The Jacket

    Jerry and George arrange to have dinner with Elaine and her father, a notoriously hard-to-please author. The evening gets off to an awkward start when Elaine is delayed, leaving her friends to entertain her father by themselves - and matters get worse when it starts to snow
