New neighbour Terry talks about his time working on the docks, while homeless teenager Kieron shares his efforts to raise money for orphans in Romania - providing Rob with an insight into a very different way of life as he decides where to donate his money

From his base in the Shankill Road - where one of the Troubles' most notorious bombings took place in 1993 - Lloyd learns at first hand the personal cost of the conflict which tore apart the community. He sees how the residents are now rebuilding their lives, from a local boxing club to a housing project in Ardoyne, helping him to decide where to donate his money

  Recruitment tycoon Jonathan Hick goes undercover in Hendon, Sunderland, once a thriving community of shipyard workers, and must survive on the equivalent of the job seeker's allowance while he gets to know the local people. During the course of the week, the Yorkshireman finds himself reflecting on his own personal experiences when he discovers mental health charity Headlight, which inspires him to do more than just donate money

  Glamorous hairdressing entrepreneur Jennifer Cheyne leaves behind her luxurious lifestyle in Edinburgh to go undercover in the former coal-mining town of Aberfan in the Welsh valleys. She warms to the generous spirit of the elderly community, and overcomes personal grief when she volunteers for Cancer Aid and spends time with a young survivor of the disease. At the end of her stay, Jennifer faces a hard time deciding where best to invest her money

  Kevin Morley, a 57-year-old entrepreneur and the former MD of Rover, abandons his life of luxury for ten days to work as volunteer on community projects in Haringey, north London. Haringey has recently hit the headlines as a result of the Baby P case and has a severe problem with poor housing. At the end of his stay Kevin has a tough choice deciding where his money will be best invested

• Season 3 Episode 8: Caroline Marsh

  Caroline Marsh, who recently made her first million in the property market, ventures to Toxteth in Liverpool with her two-year-old son Ashley. Having moved to the country from Zambia five years ago, Caroline is shocked by how run-down the inner-city area is, and after visiting a creche, a youth club and a dance centre, she attempts to encourage a sense of community spirit similar to that she left behind in Africa.   Gavin Wheeldon, a gifted salesman at 14 and now worth £20million as the head of a translation business, returns to the North Wales resort of Rhyl where he spent childhood holidays. Searching for locals in need of assistance, Gavin meets two people who have transformed a no-go area into a safe environment, talks to a landlady helping the vulnerable and learns how boxing is keeping boys occupied

• Season 3 Episode 6: Hilary Devey

  Haulage industry tycoon Hilary Devey goes undercover at the Falinge housing estate in Rochdale, which has the country's highest percentage of people receiving incapacity benefits, to try to give something back to the community. She works behind the bar at the local pub and meets Sheila Acton, who founded a community centre which helps local OAPs too frightened to leave their homes due to crime

• Season 3 Episode 5: Daniel Smith

  Wealthy businessman Daniel Smith leaves behind the comfort of his home and family in Kent to help out homeless people in London. He meets those who have lost all hope and have resorted to drinking, drug abuse and begging on the streets, including a 21-year-old alcoholic who suffers from depression and panic attacks, and whose days consist of begging for cash to buy cider

• Season 3 Episode 4: Carl Hopkins

  Marketing executive Carl Hopkins, who grew up on a council estate in Leeds, goes undercover in Easington, Co Durham, a former mining town that is now one of the most deprived areas in the country. Despite the last of its pits closing in the 1980s, the town has not lost touch with its past, and many of the cornerstones of the local colliery life have remained intact, including the brass band, which still competes nationwide

  Nick Leslau, a property tycoon with an estimated fortune of £200million, goes undercover to help people with severe disabilities in one of the most deprived areas of Glasgow. As Nick builds up friendships with the people he meets, he is forced to confront his own fears and prejudices about disability and reassess his high-flying life

  Thirty-year-old entrepreneur James Benamor returns to Moss Side, Manchester, where his teenage years brought him into contact with drugs and petty crime, meeting others in a similar situation who are going down the path to prison and addiction. Without revealing his identity, he helps three local groups combating these problems, hoping to find one which deserves a cut of his fortune

• Season 2 Episode 6: Margaret Heffernan

  American businesswoman Margaret Heffernan, who made millions as an Internet pioneer 15 years ago, temporarily leaves her Somerset mansion to live in a deprived area of Nottingham and identify people worthy of receiving some of her money. At the end of her stay she worries those she met will be offended by her offer of financial help and will believe her friendship was false. Last in series

  Mo Chaudry, the Pakistani owner of Waterworld, the UK's biggest aqua park, moves undercover in the Harehills district of Leeds. Since moving to England at the age of eight, he has become integrated into Western culture and hasn't lived with his compatriots for 20 years, leaving him unenthusiastic about living in the area which is home to the city's largest Asian population and has the highest unemployment rate

• Season 2 Episode 4: David Pearl

  London-based property magnate David Pearl, one of Britain's richest men, goes undercover as one of 700 volunteers at Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth. The millionaire attempts to cope with working for free for the first time in his life and looks for someone worthy of being rewarded with a portion of his money

  Terry George, who made his fortune through nightclubs and bars in Leeds and by running the Mr Gay UK competition, puts his pampered lifestyle on hold and attempts to live on the minimum wage in one of the poorest rural communities in Cornwall.
