Season 9 Episode 8

An insight into the development of aerial dogfighting in World War One, in which fighter pilots were at the mercy of their planes' technological innovations to gain the upper hand over attackers. The programme focuses on the last flight of infamous pilot Baron Manfred von Richthofen, known as the Red Baron. Six Allied servicemen claimed they had downed his craft, and state-of-the-art graphics and real-life reconstructions attempt to determine who was telling the truth
