Christopher Eccleston and Lesley Sharp star in this new two-part drama from the pen of Russell T Davies, writer of Queer as Folk and the award-winning Bob and Rose, an imaginative tale exploring how the modern world would cope if the Son of God returned to Earth. Eccleston plays Steven Baxter who, after going missing for five weeks, returns to Manchester proclaiming himself to be the Second Coming, but quickly discovers being a saviour in a cynical world isn't easy and that no one is going to believe him.
