The Blues recorded a 28-23 win in last season's corresponding fixture with the help of 23 points from the boot of Gareth Davies. However, Ulster enjoyed the stronger season overall, finishing three places above Cardiff in fourth place, and they will have high hopes of claiming victory on this occasion.
