Gemma blames herself when the patient's condition takes a turn for the worse and decides she's not fit to be a nurse. Meanwhile, Norman and Kristaps make a discovery that could turn them into millionaires and Matron Jenny keeps an eagle eye on the wards from her hospital bed

• Season 1 Episode 3: EPISODE: 3 A girl comes in to casualty suffering from abdominal pain following a horse riding accident but Dr Ormerod soon believes there is something more to her condition. Gemma and Carrie struggle to cope after Lesley's death, and Mr Woods deals with a man who had a vasectomy reversal and delivers upsetting news. Adam has an interview for the matron job on the ward
