• Season 2 Episode 10: De Patre Vostro (About Your Father) (2007) As news of the victory of Octavian's men reaches Rome, Cleopatra is deceived and betrays Mark Antony as a result - with disastrous consequences. Before facing an emotional reunion with his children, Vorenus flees with Caesar's supposed heir Caesarion and Pullo is ordered to track them. • Season 2 Episode 9: Deus Impeditio Esuritori Nullus (2007) Mark Antony rejects Octavian's request for shipments of grain in exchange for money and territory, and is urged by Cleopatra to wage war on Rome. However, the general refuses, wishing to be known as a saviour rather than a conqueror. Nevertheless, bad blood between the allies seems inevitable so Atia and Octavia are sent to Alexandria to negotiate. Posca flees a deteriorating situation in Egypt and causes the conflict to escalate
• Season 2 Episode 8: A Necessary Fiction (2007) Octavian proclaims a new era of virtue and chastity in the empire, issuing a stern proclamation promising to punish adultery, promiscuity and vice. Elsewhere, Herod's shipment of gold is on its way to Rome, with Mascius assigned to lead the guard, and Pullo faces personal tragedy, redirecting his grief and anger toward Memmio and Omnipur. • Season 1 Episode 10: Triumph (2005) Having been proclaimed emperor by the Senate, Caesar pronounces the war over and prepares for five days of feasting and games. No longer an enlisted soldier, Pullo eyes a pastoral future with Eirene, and Vorenus runs for municipal magistrate. Octavian retrieves Octavia from her self-imposed exile, and Servilia invites a revenge-minded Quintus Pompey into her home, much to the dismay of Brutus. • Season 1 Episode 9: Utica (2005) With Scipio and Cato defeated, Caesar returns to a hero's welcome.
