Gisborne makes a triumphant return from the court of Prince John with orders to kill Robin, so he and his men enter the forest in search of the outlaw. However, Robin has just taken under his wing a fleeing aristocratic woman who turns out to have much in common with his greatest enemy. In the ensuing skirmish, Little John is separated from the rest of the gang and ends up going undercover with a team of gladiators travelling to Nottingham.
