  • Season 3 Episode 13: Something Worth Fighting For - Part Two

    Part two of two. The outlaws are still reeling from the death of one of their number but they do not have time to mourn - the real Sheriff is back and he is spoiling for a fight, determined to win back his town at all costs. With a formidable army surrounding the castle walls, he goads the allies, telling Robin he may spare bloodshed if Gisborne and Isabella are handed over to him. But when Archer and Tuck recognise a devastating new weapon in the enemy's arsenal, they fear nothing but a tragic outcome.     Part one of two. The outlaws discover King Richard is on his way back to England - and that Isabella is rallying troops to help Prince John's cause to usurp his brother. Desperate to overthrow the sheriff, they plot to storm the castle and take her prisoner.   • Season 3 Episode 8: The King Is Dead, Long Live the King

    A sombre procession arrives in Nottingham Castle, and it is announced to the people that their king has been killed in battle. Prince John is briefly distraught, but wastes no time arranging both his brother's funeral and his own coronation. However, for Robin, the shocking news of his king's death does not quite ring true. Meanwhile, Isabella has set her sights on the sheriff's job and will go to any lengths to prove her loyalty to the prince

    There is a heatwave in Nottingham, so Prince John hits the locals where it hurts them most by taking control of the water supplies. Luckily, Kate discovers the prince's secret stash, prompting the outlaws to set out to steal back what is rightfully theirs. The operation becomes complicated, however, when the tyrant finds out about Robin's relationship with Isabella, and orders Gisborne to dispose of the pair

    Prince John arrives in Nottingham and makes Gisborne an offer he cannot refuse - kill the disloyal sheriff and step into his shoes. Keen to overthrow his brother King Richard, the dastardly prince also plans a banquet at which he intends to buy the support of noblemen from miles around - so Robin and his men plot to undermine the gathering

  • Season 3 Episode 5: Let the Games Commence

    Gisborne makes a triumphant return from the court of Prince John with orders to kill Robin, so he and his men enter the forest in search of the outlaw. However, Robin has just taken under his wing a fleeing aristocratic woman who turns out to have much in common with his greatest enemy. In the ensuing skirmish, Little John is separated from the rest of the gang and ends up going undercover with a team of gladiators travelling to Nottingham.   • Season 3 Episode 4: The Sins of the Father

    The Sheriff hires new tax collector Ruthless Rufus, who sets out to prove his worth by terrorising Locksley village, but when the outlaws set out to confront the new threat, they only succeed in getting Allan and Kate captured. To retaliate, Robin kidnaps his new enemy's son - then sets about finding his friends before Rufus carries out his threat to kill them at midday. Former Coronation Street actor Bill Ward guest stars

  • Season 3 Episode 3: Lost in Translation

    The Sheriff learns the Abbot is guilty of a heretical act and blackmails him into helping bring down Robin Hood. The outlaws arrive in Locksley to hear the religious dignitary demanding the villagers turn Robin in, and Tuck's life is put at risk after refusing to betray the hero.   • Season 3 Episode 2: Cause and Effect

    The rightful king of Ireland needs soldiers to help liberate his country, so the Sheriff sells him an army made up of local men. The outlaws set out to rescue the conscripts, joined by feisty villager Kate, whose brother is among the reluctant soldiers - but things soon go wrong when Robin is caught, shackled and taken to the castle, leaving Tuck to launch an ambush.   • Season 3 Episode 1: Total Eclipse

    Robin returns from the Holy Land a changed man, hell-bent on avenging Marion's death - so he breaks up up the gang and heads off to confront Gisborne at Locksley Manor, where an epic battle commences. Meanwhile, travelling monk Tuck puts the outlaws in grave danger to force Robin away from his path of destruction and realise he is England's one remaining hope.   • Season 2 Episode 13: We Are Robin Hood

    The outlaws arrive in the Holy Land and try to warn King Richard of the threat to his life - but instead of being greeted with a heroes' welcome they are treated as traitors and thrown in captivity. Desperate to free them, Marian tries to enlist Gisborne's help, promising to become his consort if he kills the Sheriff. As the struggle for England is fought on foreign soil, events build to a tragic conclusion. Last in the series

    The outlaws gather at a barn to celebrate Robin's birthday, only to find themselves besieged by mercenaries in the pay of the Sheriff - who has engineered their plight to ensure they are unable to prevent him setting off for the Holy Land with Gisborne to kill King Richard.     The Sheriff turns Locksley into a garrison town, throwing its people out to make way for an army of vicious mercenaries.     A messenger from King Richard dies in the outlaw's arms, but not before uttering the word 'Lardner'. When the fortune-telling Fool also mentions the name in a doom-laden prophecy, the Sheriff and Gisborne decide they should be searching for the same thing - but Robin receives a head start in the hunt when Djaq reveals Lardner is a Saracen carrier pigeon

    Marian surprises everyone with her new energy and recklessness as she adapts to life as an outlaw.
