A broadcast of Tim Carroll's 2003 production of Shakespeare's historical play, performed at the Globe theatre, exactly as it would have been in the 16th century - right down to the all-male cast. Mark Rylance takes the lead in the story of the Plantagenet dynasty's downfall as the House of Lancaster rises to power. Andrew Marr introduces the performance, and discusses the historical significance of both the play and the theatre with Corin Redgrave, Michael Wood and Zoe Wanamaker
