  Two of the remaining three girls engage in a day-long screaming match, and the trio sing as a group before performing solo for the final showdown. Once the judges have announced their decision, the successful contestant joins their new bandmates to make their official debut. Last in the series

• Season 1 Episode 7: The Fantastic Four

  The girls' personalities and public speaking skills come under the spotlight as they embark on a mock media tour, which includes appearing in a commercial and giving an interview on the set of American entertainment show Extra with Mark McGrath. One girl stirs up trouble when she reveals who she would like to see eliminated from the competition, and the four remaining performers sing solo for the first time

  Pussycat Doll Melody Thornton makes an appearance as the contest reaches fever pitch, and the girls audition for last-minute places as backing dancers with the group for a live televised performance. Meanwhile, things hot up in the rehearsal studio when the girls are introduced to the male dancers
