Sarah Beeny advises inexperienced would-be developers Martine Follett and Teresa Edwards, who intend to renovate a terraced house in Lincolnshire and do all the work themselves. But the project is blighted by problems from the beginning, from a death-trap attic to asbestos in the lean-to, and when Martine becomes incapacitated with foot injury and costs shoot through the roof, the pair find themselves facing a challenge to keep the dream - and their friendship - alive
