• Burgess Hill

  Confident that property development was a safe bet a couple purchased a Fifties three-bedroom house with the sole intention of renovating it to make money. They sold it for a £60,000 profit and 18 months later, Sarah Beeny returns to Burgess Hill to find out if they were able to fulfil their dream of a mortgage-free life

  Sarah Beeny returns to Chiswick to catch up with a woman who gave up her job to renovate a gloomy one-bedroom flat into a high-spec corporate let with a loft conversion. She is now a prolific property developer, with her latest project worth more than £1million, but she reveals it's been far from easy

  Sarah Beeny visits Dan Gordon and Rowena Walker at their latest development to see if they have established a thriving property business after their first adventure modernising a Thirties Coventry semi, which was beset by problems due to an unforeseen redundancy and the discovery of asbestos on the premises

  Sarah Beeny pays a return visit to first-time buyer Katie Besham from Crouch End, London, who, with the help of investment from her father, ambitiously bought a dilapidated five-bedroom, two-storey maisonette for £185,000 with a view to renting it out. With complete renovation and redecoration required, was the original goal achieved?

  Sarah Beeny catches up with a novice landlord in west London who planned to buy a flat, renovate it, adding two extra bedrooms, and rent it out to highly paid professionals.   An update on the Shoreditch home of a former merchant banker who sank his life savings into converting an empty east London shell into a trendy loft apartment. On day one he sacked his workforce and took on the role of builder, architect and project manager himself. Fifteen months later, Sarah Beeny returns to find out if he made any money and whether he has gone on to develop any more properties

  Sarah Beeny returns to the Welsh home of Johanna Greenslade and Angela Myatt, to see if they have any regrets about turning their backs on their £50,000-a-year jobs. In the original programme, the Swansea businesswomen planned to pool their savings and invest in a dilapidated miner's cottage in the village of Pontardawe and sell it on for a huge profit after doing it up

  Sarah Beeney visits Sarah and Terry Rich in Tonbridge, Kent, at their fifth development, and discovers they are using tried and tested techniques to add extra rooms to their bungalow. The couple hope to earn a massive profit from their latest venture as they continue to dream of mortgage-free living

  Sarah Beeny catches up with a couple from Winchmore Hill who were never short of big plans and were so sure of success they quit their jobs before embarking on their first development. They now hope to make £150,000 profit on their latest project, but after 18 months' work it represents an enormous gamble
