Synopsis:
Legendary conductor Zubin Mehta leads the acclaimed Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra in the first of two 2005 Proms visits. The concert begins with two Viennese classics - Haydn's Symphony No 103, the Drumroll, and Alban Berg's Three Fragments from his opera Wozzeck, featuring Swedish soprano Katarina Dalayman - and concludes with Stravinsky's masterpiece The Rite of Spring.
