Prom 33 - BBC Philharmonic
Gianandrea Noseda conducts the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra in a performance of Britten's Sinfonia da Requiem and Mahler's Tenth Symphony, which was completed by Deryck Cooke after the composer's death and first performed in its entirety at the Proms in 1964

Venezuelan National Youth Orchestra - Prom 48
Verity Sharp introduces a concert by the Simon Bolivar Youth Orchestra, conducted by its founder Gustavo Dudamel. The programme opens with Shostakovich's intensely personal Symphony No 10, followed by the suite from Bernstein's West Side Story.
