• Beethoven and Breet Dean - Prom 13 The BBC Symphony Chorus and BBC Symphony Orchestra join forces at the Royal Albert Hall with Australia's national children's choir the Gondwana Voices to perform the European premiere of Brett Dean's Vexations and Devotions. The second half of the concert features Beethoven's 7th Symphony. Presented by Charles Hazlewood

• Bluebeard's Castle Christoph von Dohanyo conducts Thomas Ades' opera Powder Her Face based on the life of Margaret Duchess of Argyll, and Bartok's darkly psychological Duke Bluebeard's Castle is performed by Charlotte Hellekant and Falk Struckman. Presented by Verity Sharpe
• Elgar's Enigma - Prom 31 Enigma Variations, marking the 150th anniversary of Elgar's birth, conducted by Daniele Gatti, and Richard Strauss' Oboe Concerto in D Major and the suite from Der Rosenkavalier
• An Evening with Michael Ball - Prom 58 Callum McLeod conducts the BBC Concert Orchestra, alongside Michael Ball and guests, as he performs hits from popular musicals including Jesus Christ Superstar, Sunset Boulevard, Kismet and West Side Story. Presented by Petroc Trelawny
• French Classics - Prom 22 Suzy Klein presents a Shakespearean-themed show live from the Royal Albert Hall. Marc Minkowski opens the French prom with Faure's suite from his incidental music to a 19th-century adaptation of The Merchant of Venice. The programme also features Bizet's incidental music to the 1872 play L'Arlesienne and a performance of Berlioz's song cycle Les Nuits d'ete by Anne Sofie von Otter
• French Classics - Prom 22 Les Musiciens du Louvre, Grenoble with an all-French programme, including Bizet's incidental music to L'Arlesienne and Berlioz's cycle Les nuits d'ete sung by Anne Sofie von Otter
• Mid-Season Highlights Revisiting some of the high points of the 2007 Proms season, including Sir John Eliot Gardiner's collaboration with players from the Buskaid Soweto String Project. Presented by Suzy Klein
• Prom 14 - Haydn's Seasons Charles Hazlewood presents as Roger Norrington conducts the Handel and the Haydn Society of Boston through a performance of Joseph Haydn's The Seasons at London's Royal Albert Hall
• Prom 31 - Royal Philharmonic Orchestra Elgar's Enigma Variations, a set of 14 affectionate musical sketches each dedicated to a close friend of the musician. Richard Strauss's Der Rosenkavalier also features alongside one of his final works, the Oboe Concerto, composed at the end of World War Two, performed by Russian oboist Alexei Ogrintchouk
• Prom 33 - BBC Philharmonic Gianandrea Noseda conducts the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra in a performance of Britten's Sinfonia da Requiem and Mahler's Tenth Symphony, which was completed by Deryck Cooke after the composer's death and first performed in its entirety at the Proms in 1964
• Prom 40 - Mahler and Brahms Chief Conductor Paavo Jarvi conducts baritone Matthias Goerne, making his Proms debut, and the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra in a selection of performances from Mahler's Des Knaben Wonderhorn, Weber's Oberon Overture, and Schoenberg's orchestration of Brahms' Piano Quartet. Presented by Verity Sharp
• Prom 56 - Britten and Prokofiev Jiri Belohlavek conducts the BBC Symphony Orchestra in a performance of music written in the shadow of world events. Prokofiev's Fifth Symphony was composed at the height of World War Two, while Britten's Four Sea Interludes, which punctuate his opera Peter Grimes, were first performed in 1945. • Prom 65 - Mahler's Seventh Symphony Michael Tilson Thomas and the San Francisco Symphony perform their double-Grammy award winning version of the haunting 'Night Music' movements. Charles Hazelwood presents at London's Royal Albert Hall
• Renee Fleming Sings Berg - Prom 32 Acclaimed soprano Renee Fleming sings songs by Alban Berg and Erich Korngold accompanied by the BBC Philharmonic and conductor Gianandrea Noseda. Plus, performances of Beethoven's 8th Symphony in F major, and Schumann's 2nd Symphony in C major. Presented by Suzy Klein
• Rossini and Berio Conducted by Antonio Pappano, an international quartet perform Rossini's Stabat Mater. Introduced by Verity Sharp
• Stravinsky's Petrushka - Prom 41 Including Stravinsky's Petrushka, three dance episodes from Bernstein's On the Town, and Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue performed by American jazz pianist Marcus Roberts and his improvisational trio accompanied by the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and conductor Robert Spano. Presented by Verity Sharp
• Stravinsky's Petrushka - Prom 41 Jazz pianist Marcus Roberts performs Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue with his own band and the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra. Plus, a performance of Stravinsky's folk-influenced Petrushka and the Three Dance Episodes from Bernstein's musical On the Town. Verity Sharp presents
• Tchaikovsky and Prokofiev - Prom 59 Valery Gregiev conducts the London Symphony Orchestra in a Russian programme featuring Tchaikovsky's overtures inspired by Romeo and Juliet and Hamlet. Other music includes works by Prokofiev, iincluding a performance by Alexander Toradze of the composer's 2nd Piano Concerto. Petroc Trelawney presents
• Twentieth Century Classics - Prom 24 Ilan Volkov conducts the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and pianist Steven Osborne in a performance of four landmark works from the past century - Debussy's La Mer, Varese's Ecuatorial, Britten's Piano Concerto and Sibelius's Tapiola. Suzy Klein presents
• Venezuelan National Youth Orchestra - Prom 48 Verity Sharp introduces a concert by the Simon Bolivar Youth Orchestra, conducted by its founder Gustavo Dudamel. The programme opens with Shostakovich's intensely personal Symphony No 10, followed by the suite from Bernstein's West Side Story. The evening draws to a rousing conclusion as Moncayo's riotous Huapango rounds off a sequence of Latin American works. Broadcast live on BBC Radio 3
