  Nigel Marven embarks on an operation that would make most people's toes curl as he attempts to rescue giant creepy-crawlies from the hostile habitats of 300 million years ago. On the way to Scotland, the explorer encounters a swarm of enormous dragonflies and a 10ft-long millipede. Meanwhile, the team at the park try to breed the sabre-toothed cats

• Season 1 Episode 4: Sabre Tooth

  Nigel Marven turns his attention to sabre-toothed cats, using CGI imagery to save the species from extinction. The time-traveller takes pity on a giant bird when one of the felines attacks it, and brings it back to safety in the park. Meanwhile, the park becomes home to the first baby dinosaurs for 65 million years as the ornithomimus eggs hatch. Narrated by David Jason
