Synopsis:
Amanda Burton heads the cast in Simon Nye's adaptation of Eleanor H Porter's heart-warming tale about a little girl who goes to live with her rich but bitter aunt after the death of her beloved father. Her sunny nature and determination to look on the bright side of life have an astonishing effect on those around her : but tragedy lurks round the corner.
