Synopsis:

The patriarch of an artistic North Country family disinherits his son in suspicious circumstances just before his demise. Foul play is confirmed when the victim's youngest sister - the black sheep of the family who suggested the death may not have been a coincidence - is killed with a hatchet, leaving Poirot to question the family as to who might have committed the murder.
