TV Special
While on holiday to Jerusalem, the detective joins an archaeological expedition to Syria led by the eccentric Lord Boynton and his son Leonard, who believe they are on the track of the head of St John the Baptist. However, his vacation is interrupted when the body of the gentleman's ex-wife, Lady Boynton, is discovered, and he is asked to investigate the murder. Tim Curry and Mark Gatiss guest star, with David Suchet
