Synopsis:
An exploration of the survival techniques used by creatures inhabiting the oceans of the world, where adaptation is paramount for those dwelling on the surface as well as below. Pods of dolphins are filmed charging in search of prey, surprising methods for conserving energy are revealed as deep-sea octopuses 'fly' with wings, and vampire squid use bioluminescence to create a colour display.
