Synopsis:
A group of adults and children from the UK and US recreate the lifestyle of a 17th-century pioneer settlement from scratch, facing hardship and back-breaking labour for four months. The colonists arrive by ship, and soon meet local Native American tribe the Passamaquoddy - but as sickness takes hold in the camp, the newly appointed governor faces his first tough test
