Fans from across the globe eagerly wait for the 1966 World Cup to finally get under way. But as the teams prepare for kick-off, disaster strikes with news that the Jules Rimet trophy has been stolen. The football-mad Yeoman family, and their trusty pooch Pickles, decide they cannot just sit around while the dreams of the nation slip away like a dodgy back pass, and set out to find the prize and save the tournament from disaster.
