The Anglo-Jewish Symon family congregate for a reunion at a luxury hotel in London, where a collection of old photographs leads to the unearthing of secrets and passions buried deep within their shared history. Seduced by the glamour of this new world he is encountering, Daniel (Matthew Macfadyen) becomes a pawn in a game played by his alluring Aunt Alice and dazzling cousins Rebecca and Charles : but as events become increasingly complex, he finds himself out of his depth.
