The men's hockey continues at the Riverbank Arena from 9.00, followed by the canoeing action with Rishi Persad at Eton Dorney, featuring the heats and semi-finals in the men's K4 1,000m from 9.30 and 10.47, and C2 1,000m from 9.46 and 11.03, and the women's K1 500m from 10.07 and 11.24, and K2 500m from 10.28 and 11.38. The athletics follows at the Olympic Stadium, with the first round of the men's 200m from 11.50, in which James Ellington and Christian Malcolm have been selected to run for Great Britain, and Usain Bolt and Yohan Blake for Jamaica, and the programme concludes with Shirley Robertson at the sailing from Weymouth at 1.00, as Nick Dempsey hopes to be involved in the RS-X medal race
