New drama series. A young orphan boy endures a horrible childhood in the workhouse, but yearns for more. After being sold to a cruel undertaker, he runs away to London - where he is taken under the wing of a group of pickpockets. Timothy Spall heads an all-star cast as Fagin in this adaptation by EastEnders writer Sarah Phelps of the classic Charles Dickens novel. Tom Hardy plays Bill Sikes, Gregor Fisher takes the role of Mr Bumble, with Sarah Lancashire as Mrs Corney. Introducing William Miller in the title role and Adam Arnold as the Artful Dodger.- Online
