• Season 3 Episode 8: EPISODE: 8

  In the last-ever episode, Kate prepares for her wedding to Peter by taking him to her dream home, but is upset by his lack of interest - and matters only worsen when she discovers he applied for a job abroad without telling her. Meanwhile, proud mum Anji tries to make up with Callum, and Emma convinces Lia to take a trip to Australia

  Kate becomes excited about the prospect of getting married and talks constantly about dresses and flowers - much to the bemusement of fiance Peter. Lia dates a younger man, and gives a lecture on sex education at her daughter's school. Beth decides to give hospital plumber Rob a second chance, and Anji faces a dilemma when choosing her birthing partner

  Kate is puzzled when Peter makes an offhand comment that may have been his version of a marriage proposal, but she is left unsure over his intent. Beth is cajoled into going camping with one of the hospital plumbers and gets more out of the trip than she expected

  A pregnant Anji returns home from her travels, and goes to devious lengths to ensure she will not have to raise the child alone - finding unexpected help from Callum. Lia launches a personal crusade after her car is clamped, with unexpected results

  Kate puts the nurses in quarantine after a suspected anthrax outbreak - but all is not as it seems. Beth thinks Justyn tricked her into sleeping with him and plots revenge. Anji attends her school reunion, and meets the teacher she used to have a crush on, while new couple Jamie and Lia are appalled by their own soppiness

• Season 2 Episode 8: EPISODE: 8

  Jamie is finally made registrar and gathers everyone round for a celebratory drink of champagne. Kate, however, has one glass too many and shows herself up in front of Dr Templar, who persuades her to go to an AA meeting. Beth gets annoyed at new agency nurse Justyn's flirting, but eventually agrees to go on a date with him after she hears he is gay

• Season 2 Episode 7: EPISODE: 7

  Anji's cousin needs somewhere to stay following a row with her parents, while Kate is accepted onto a training course. When Jamie asks Lia to come to an official function, her daughter Emma decides to make her own babysitting arrangements - with her eye firmly on Marcus. Beth goes on a date with the new registrar - but soon begins to question his sanity

• Season 2 Episode 6: EPISODE: 6

  Jamie is determined to become registrar and asks Lia to pretend to be his fiancee at the annual hospital ball in a desperate bid to impress the bigwigs. Senior consultant Mr Asquith shows his approval, but the subterfuge is threatened when the supposed bride-to-be ends up in bed with another man. Meanwhile, Kate is rushed to A&E and taken in as a patient on her own ward

  The Trust launch a campaign to search for the face of Yorkshire nursing - much to Beth's disdain - and the girls tell Kate she would be the perfect candidate. Meanwhile, Anji is amazed that her friends have acquired cable TV. With Jo Joyner and Sunetra Sarker

  Kate breaks a nurses' taboo and starts dating a patient - only to find she doesn't like sick people much. Jamie's social climbing begins to grate on Beth, so she resolves to bring him down a peg or two. Meanwhile, Lia is lumbered with caring for her daughter's school rabbit as a symbol of her responsibilities as a parent

• Season 2 Episode 3: EPISODE: 3

  Anji decides the time has come to find Mr Right and persuades the girls to go speed dating. Back at the hospital, Claire is forced to resign after being blamed for causing an MRSA outbreak, leading to Kate's appointment as ward sister, while Lia tries to end the enmity between doctors and nurses by helping Jamie out of a fix

  Beth treats a patient who has attempted to crucify himself, and Anji takes her mind off her troubles with Callum by creating disgusting concoctions with her juicer.   The nurses are horrified that Clare is in the running for the new ward sister job, but a training day offers the perfect opportunity to destroy her chances. Paul is forced to choose between his wife and Beth, while Anji coaches Callum for a date, with unexpected repercussions. Last in series

  Lia agrees to a date with a patient's son, and decides her daughter's new boyfriend cannot be trusted. Paul makes a shocking confession to Beth, Jamie is surprised to learn that Kate went to boarding school, and Anji's irreverent attitude gets her into trouble

  Anji confronts her fiance when he refuses to have sex with her and demands to know whether he's gay, while Kate is overcome with paranoia after learning of Jamie's one night stand with Beth, and a meeting about money gives all the nurses food for thought.
