New series from the makers of award-winning documentary Hoop Dreams, following recent immigrants in the US over a four-year period. By charting the experiences of Mexican Pedro Flores, the Nigerian Nwidor family, young Palestinian woman Naima, Anjan Bacchu from Bangalore and rising Dominican baseball stars Ricardo and Jose, the programme-makers hope to discover why immigrants still flock to a country which has grown increasingly wary of newcomers in the aftermath of the September 11 attacks
