My Family: Season 11 (2011)

• Season 11 Episode 11: A Night Out

  After 11 series in as many years, the Harper family bids farewell in the last-ever episode. Susan and Janey are at a hen party, which is great fun until the bride announces her groom does not want her any more, while family friend Roger is excited about a blind date. The only one at home is Ben, who is babysitting Kenzo - although the grumpy dentist soon finds himself reluctantly going out too. • Season 11 Episode 10: Susan for a Bruisin'

  Susan is asked to make a speech at a school reunion - but after a mix-up at work ends with her quitting her job, what should have been an uplifting talk descends into bitterness and contempt. Kenzo develops a playground crush, so Ben offers the benefit of his experience - much to Janey's horror

• Season 11 Episode 9: Darts All Folks

  Ben is invited to join the local darts team when one of the members assumes he has inherited his late father's skills at the oche - but it soon turns out that when it comes to throwing arrows, he is a very good dentist. Susan uses her husband's new distraction as an excuse to hire a life coach, who is tall, dark, handsome and French, though his services do not come cheap - as she soon discovers to her cost

• Season 11 Episode 8: A Decent Proposal

  Grief-stricken Susan attends her mother's funeral, where her father puts in a surprise appearance, having been thought lost at sea. After meeting Ben, he makes his long-lost daughter a tempting proposal - he will give her £2million if she gets a divorce. Meanwhile, Michael falls for a handsome undertaker

  With Ben away on a volunteer dental programme in the Colombian rainforest, Susan goes for a drink with an old flame, but although they part on good terms, she regrets agreeing to drop off a package for him. Zoë Wanamaker stars, with a guest appearance from Joe McGann (The Upper Hand)

• Season 11 Episode 6: Relationship Happens

  Susan feels in need of love and attention, and hopes dragging a reluctant Ben along on a spiritual course for couples will put the spark back into their marriage. But when asked to describe why they love each other, they fail miserably - and that is just the first task. Back at home, Michael is devastated when new boyfriend Matt dumps him for being a geek - then dealt a further blow when Janey remains friends with his ex. • Season 11 Episode 5: Harper v Harper

  The Harpers go their separate ways after a big argument, and while Ben moves in with Roger - much to the dismay of his friend, who is expecting a date - Susan throws a party to celebrate her new-found freedom. However, anything she can do, he can do better, and the dentist sets about faking his own party to make his wife jealous.   Michael and Janey treat their parents to a Spanish holiday for their anniversary, but the flight is a living hell as Ben picks fights with his fellow passengers - and then there is the little matter of the virus outbreak that forces them into quarantine at the airport on arrival. Back home, Michael admits he charged the all-expenses-paid trip to his dad's credit card - now all he needs is a quick way of paying it back

  With Ben away at a conference for the week, Susan throws herself into her work - only to end up being accused of sexual harassment by a colleague. • Season 9 Episode 8: The Guru

  A handsome stranger comes to the rescue when Susan is stranded at an Albanian airport, and the dashing American invites her to join him on his round-the-world adventure. Ben is surprised when a celebrity dentist dedicates a new book to him, and finds out the author is an old friend from college who is actually jealous of the family man's mundane lifestyle. Guest starring John Barrowman and David Haig

• Season 9 Episode 7: It's Training Men

  Ben is sent on a training course, but falls asleep during a lecture and wakes up to find there is to be an exam on all the facts he has just missed. Back home, the rest of the family gets drunk on home brew. Comedy, starring Robert Lindsay

  Susan offers her support to an old friend going through a divorce, and Ben is roped in as a 'date' to make the woman's husband jealous. • Season 9 Episode 2: Bringing Up Janey

  Ben goes undercover in a hotel when he suspects Susan of having an affair with one of her clients, but finds Janey there instead. After recovering from the shock, he begins imagining the benefits of a rich son-in-law - until Susan sees him kissing another woman. Guest starring Robert Bathurst

• Season 9 Episode 1: Bully for Ben

  After struggling to write a loving message inside Susan's wedding anniversary card, Ben tags along to a pub quiz with Janey and ends up confronting a cheating opponent. • Season 8 Episode 7: The Abi Habit

• Season 8 Episode 3: Cards on the Table

  While Ben's poker school is costing him a fortune, Susan visits soothsayer Zelda Nobbs who predicts something far more deadly is on the cards. Guest starring Anna Chancellor. Postponed from April 27

• Season 8 Episode 2: Let's Not Be Heisty

  Ben's attempt to pay money into his bank is thwarted when someone else tries to take some out - with the aid of sawn-off shotguns. Things look bleak for the hostages when he decides to act as a negotiator. Robert Lindsay stars, with a guest appearance from Pauline Quirke. Postponed from April 20

• Season 8 Episode 1: The Parent Trap

  Ben falls in love with his neighbour's large plasma-screen TV when he takes delivery of it for them. Meanwhile, Michael's current flame may be expecting a smaller but more problematic delivery. Domestic comedy, starring Robert Lindsay and Zoë Wanamaker as harassed parents

My Family: Season 7 (2007 - 2009)

• Season 7 Episode 9: Life Begins at 50

  Susan's severe mood swings lead Michael to believe she is going through the menopause and his suspicions are only confirmed when she is arrested for stealing a pair of sunglasses. Ben learns the cost of lawyers and decides to represent her in court, but his line of defence proves weak. Last in series

• Season 7 Episode 8: Breaking Up Ain't Hard To Do

  Susan learns two of her old friends are having marital problems, and in an effort to help invites them round for dinner. However, a blazing row soon escalates between the troubled couple, which causes friction in the Harpers' own marriage when they decide to take sides. Robert Lindsay and Zoë Wanamaker star

• Season 7 Episode 7: Abi Ever After

  Roger and Abi's wedding day arrives, but the event does not go off without a glitch. Ben dispenses advice on what makes a happy marriage, leaving the bride with serious doubts in her mind, while Janey is dumped by her latest boyfriend and turns up at the church already inebriated. Robert Lindsay stars

• Season 7 Episode 6: One of the Boys

  Abi tries to cook a meal for her future mother-in-law and discovers she is not prepared to give up Roger without a fight. Ben looks forward to a visit from an old college pal, only to find out Charlie is not the man he used to be. Comedy, starring Robert Lindsay and Zoë Wanamaker

• Season 7 Episode 5: Susan of Troy

  Michael succeeds in getting the Harpers accepted to appear on The Weakest Link, but some searching questions give the family's dirty washing a good airing on national TV - not least that Susan was once married to a wrestler called Troy the Punisher. • Season 7 Episode 4: Dutch Art & Dutch Courage

  Ben tries to show moral support by driving Michael to his university interview. However, a bit of Dutch courage takes its toll on the teenager, who emerges from the meeting in a dishevelled state. Meanwhile, Susan accompanies her attractive boss on an art-buying trip. Gabriel Thomson stars

• Season 7 Episode 3: Once More With Feeling

  Roger and Abi announce they have set a date for their wedding, which sets Susan thinking about what a disappointment her own big day was. She suggests to Ben they renew their marriage vows, but he is invited to one of the most important football matches of the season - which happens to be on the same day as their ceremony

• Season 7 Episode 2: Four Affairs and a Funeral

  An elderly patient comes to the surgery for treatment and confesses to having an affair with a much younger woman - before dying in the dentist's chair. To cause further confusion, the man's wife and mistress come looking for Ben, arousing Susan's suspicions. Comedy, guest starring Eric Sykes

• Season 7 Episode 1: Ego Has Landed

  Kenzo's father arrives unexpectedly on the Harpers' doorstep. Janey decides to grant him access, but soon regrets the decision when he fails to bring his son home. My Family: Season 6 (2006 - 2008)

• Season 6 Episode 8: And I'll Cry If I Want to

  Festive edition of the comedy from 2005. Another Christmas with the Harper family sees Scrooge-like patriarch Ben at his most miserable, as wife Susan is busy giving grandson Kenzo a third birthday to remember, his hated mother-in-law Grace gets herself a toyboy and eldest son Nick sends a present that could have a lasting effect on the entire household. • Season 6 Episode 7: The Art of Being Susan

• Season 6 Episode 6: And Other Animals

  Michael embarks on a military cadet weekend, leaving Susan to brood over an empty house, so it's no surprise when she takes pity on a stray dog - much to her husband's disgust. After Janey clears the loft of her belongings, Ben accidentally discards a teddy bear worth hundreds of pounds

  Ben persuades Susan to get involved in Pyramus - a 'pyramid' money-making scheme that involves selling cleaning products door-to-door - so he can raise the cash for a boat. Unaware that it is a con, the pair become excited about their financial prospects - until the truth is revealed

  As the festive season arrives, Ben bemoans the fact that one day of Christmas is bad enough without having to endure the full twelve. Meanwhile, Susan attempts to display her culinary 'talents', Michael feels his girlfriend is getting too serious and Janey comes home with something unexpected and unwanted. • Season 4 Episode 13: It's a Window-Filled Life

  Roger's illness puts the house into quarantine, Nick embarks on a business venture with an 18ft-long python, and Michael fires a rocket launcher through the window. Guest starring Russ Abbot, with Robert Lindsay and Zoë Wanamaker

• Season 4 Episode 12: May the Best Man Win

  Abi's father decides to remarry and asks Ben to be his best man - which proves to be a bad move. What's more, things get worse once Nick is given the responsibility of running the stag party

• Season 4 Episode 11: Canary Cage

  Ben loses his luggage on a free holiday to Lanzarote but manages to keep hold of his brand-new digital camera - and the others are not amused by his snap-happy antics. Domestic comedy, starring Robert Lindsay
