  • Season 11 Episode 11: A Night Out

    After 11 series in as many years, the Harper family bids farewell in the last-ever episode. Susan and Janey are at a hen party, which is great fun until the bride announces her groom does not want her any more, while family friend Roger is excited about a blind date. The only one at home is Ben, who is babysitting Kenzo - although the grumpy dentist soon finds himself reluctantly going out too.     Grief-stricken Susan attends her mother's funeral, where her father puts in a surprise appearance, having been thought lost at sea.     A handsome stranger comes to the rescue when Susan is stranded at an Albanian airport, and the dashing American invites her to join him on his round-the-world adventure. Ben is surprised when a celebrity dentist dedicates a new book to him, and finds out the author is an old friend from college who is actually jealous of the family man's mundane lifestyle.   • Season 9 Episode 7: It's Training Men

  • Season 7 Episode 9: Life Begins at 50

    Susan's severe mood swings lead Michael to believe she is going through the menopause and his suspicions are only confirmed when she is arrested for stealing a pair of sunglasses. Ben learns the cost of lawyers and decides to represent her in court, but his line of defence proves weak. Last in series

  • Season 7 Episode 8: Breaking Up Ain't Hard To Do

    Susan learns two of her old friends are having marital problems, and in an effort to help invites them round for dinner. However, a blazing row soon escalates between the troubled couple, which causes friction in the Harpers' own marriage when they decide to take sides. Robert Lindsay and Zoë Wanamaker star

  • Season 7 Episode 7: Abi Ever After

    Roger and Abi's wedding day arrives, but the event does not go off without a glitch. Ben dispenses advice on what makes a happy marriage, leaving the bride with serious doubts in her mind, while Janey is dumped by her latest boyfriend and turns up at the church already inebriated.     Roger and Abi announce they have set a date for their wedding, which sets Susan thinking about what a disappointment her own big day was.
