• Season 1 Episode 10: EPISODE: 10 (2005) A 28 year old registrar is pushed off a hospital roof and crashes into the social club.
• Season 1 Episode 9: EPISODE: 9 (2005) A Lithuanian working in London gets stabbed.
• Season 1 Episode 8: EPISODE: 8 (2005) The team are soon on the scene after a journalist is slashed and stabbed to death in broad daylight. Although no witnesses are willing to come forward, the evidence suggests it was a gangland killing connected to local racial tensions : and as the MIT pursue their investigations, they find themselves plunged into a community tragically torn by hatred and deceit. • Season 1 Episode 7: EPISODE: 7 (2005) The body of former glamour model Natasha McKay is washed up on a bank of the Thames and the team's investigations uncover a number of intriguing leads. Although married to a wealthy property tycoon, Natasha apparently felt the need to raise extra cash to fund her wild lifestyle : and an e-mail correspondence with an old school friend may shed light on the mystery. • Season 1 Episode 6: EPISODE: 6 (2005) When a convicted paedophile is discovered murdered and mutilated, the team find it difficult to see him as a victim and are in no rush to track down the culprit, so it falls to DI Friend to remind them they still have a job to do. The problem is, all his police files and personal records have gone missing : and the children he supposedly abused do not exist
• Season 1 Episode 5: EPISODE: 5 (2005) The body of a red-haired woman is discovered in woodland and the team soon suspect her husband : but when he proves to have a cast-iron alibi, they are forced to look further afield. A new lead presents itself in the form of a second redhead, who's in hospital after being drugged, and the trail of evidence leads to a former mortuary attendant who developed warped sexual preferences
• Season 1 Episode 4: EPISODE: 4 (2005) The team are called to a lake where the body of a vagrant has been found : and within minutes discover a second body, that of a teacher, has been pushed from his fifth-floor window. Despite the very different circumstances, the investigators still suspect there's a link. Lindsey Coulson and Samantha Spiro star in the gritty police procedural drama, with a guest appearance by John Duttine
• Season 1 Episode 3: EPISODE: 3 (2005) The detectives examine the demise of a promising young footballer, who was found dead in his car near a local park. The victim had been receiving threats ever since the announcement that he planned to leave the club at the end of the season - but his manager denies all knowledge. • Season 1 Episode 2: EPISODE: 2 (2005) The detectives look into the suspicious death of a registrar, who fell from a hospital roof. The dead man's colleagues appear less than helpful, but MacManus and Hands get a lead when they investigate his girlfriend's flat - and find a large quantity of drugs, along with the medical notes of a patient who died just days after a routine operation.
