Stage two of Mark Beaumont's epic attempt takes the Scot across the vast Asian deserts and through the continent's humid cities. He moves through Iran, skirting Afghanistan's Helmand province, but always in the vicinity of insurgents, before arriving in northern India and beginning the journey south. Peter Capaldi narrates
