Make It or Break It: Season 3 (2012)

• Season 3 Episode 8: United Stakes

  A fearful Jordan considers reporting Coach Ray, while Payson seeks inspiration for new moves at a salsa dancing class. Wendy's devious actions cause Kaylie to fail her drug-screening test, and Lauren's health worries force her to weigh her recovery against pursuing her Olympic dream

• Season 3 Episode 7: Truth Be Told

  Lauren undergoes an experimental, non-invasive heart procedure, but her need for recovery time means that she is still unable to train. When Jake helps her rehearse the routines mentally, the pair form a close bond. Jordan becomes anxious and loses her focus when Coach Ray arrives at the training centre, while Wendy resorts to underhand tactics to deal with Kaylie, who represents her biggest threat

• Season 3 Episode 6: Listen to the Universe

  Coach McIntyre questions Jordan about her lack of team spirit and Kaylie decides to resolve a disagreement. Meanwhile, Lauren is told she requires heart surgery followed by several months of rest, so Payson enlists Rigo to take her to visit a doctor who has pioneered a new procedure

  Payson faces the consequences of breaking Coach McIntyre's curfew and jeopardises her friendship with Lauren by revealing the truth about her illness. Sheila tries to undermine Jordan's confidence on the first day of qualification rounds, and Kelly is annoyed by her mother's new job

• Season 3 Episode 4: Growing Pains

  Coach McIntire expects the girls' routines to be perfect when they take part in a display for their parents. Kelly Parker's pushy mother tries to buy her daughter's place as team leader for the London Games, while Payson is upset when her father announces the family is moving

• Season 3 Episode 3: Time Is of the Essence

  A journalist upsets Payson by questioning her about the Sasha kissing scandal. The gymnasts are uninspired by Coach McIntyre's tactics and are doubtful of his ability to train a female team, so he invites them to his home for a talk

• Season 3 Episode 2: It Takes Two

  Coach McIntire splits the girls into pairs to train and live together. Their first assignment is to choreograph a routine for each other, but Kelly and Kaylie struggle to establish mutual trust, while Lauren is upset by Payson's lack of motivation. The pressure mounts when it is announced that two gymnasts will be told to leave after displaying their routines

• Season 3 Episode 1: Smells Like Winner

  Payson, Lauren and Kaylie head to a training centre in Colorado Springs to spend eight weeks with other Olympic hopefuls. However, their time away gets off to a bad start when Lauren suffers from fainting spells and Payson receives a letter from Max asking to end their relationship

Make It or Break It: Season 2 (2010 - 2011)

• Season 2 Episode 20: Worlds Apart

  Kaylie, Lauren, Payson and Kelly compete at the World Championships. However, they all struggle to deal with the pressures of competition, and the unresolved tensions between them only make matters worse - so Sasha takes tough action to make them focus on what really matters

• Season 2 Episode 19: What Lies Beneath

  Sheila urges Kelly to publicly expose Kaylie's struggle with an eating disorder - but her daughter is reluctant to sacrifice a growing friendship with her rival. Payson is offered a lucrative endorsement deal, while Marcus tells Kim the video that was used to discredit Sasha had been tampered with

• Season 2 Episode 18: Dog Eat Dog

  Max and Payson stumble across a puppy and decide to hide it until it can be given a new home - but Lauren is convinced there is something else happening between them. Kelly Parker's manager stirs up trouble for Kaylie and the rest of the girls, and Mark returns to Boulder for a job interview. With Kathy Najimy (Sister Act)

• Season 2 Episode 17: To Thine Own Self Be True

  Kaylie returns to training at the Rock while still feeling responsible for Emily's departure - but faces another setback when Sasha announces she will not be going to the World Championships. Lauren plans a surprise bridal shower for Summer, and Austin angrily confronts Damon

• Season 2 Episode 16: Requiem for a Dream

  Emily discovers she is six weeks pregnant - but receives news that leaves her unsure whether to keep the baby, and starts to believe her friends are putting too much pressure on her. Damon encourages Kaylie to record the song they wrote together, and Lauren persuades Steve to propose to Summer

• Season 2 Episode 15: Hungary Heart

  The girls head to Hungary following their embarrassing loss to the Pinewood club, and a fed-up Payson decides to get Sasha reinstated as their coach. Meanwhile, Emily questions Damon about his relationship with Kaylie

• Season 2 Episode 14: Life or Death

  Lauren, Payson and Emily find out from Darby that the Dallas gym cancelled their forthcoming meet, and they are to compete against the Pinewood Club instead - one of the worst-ranked teams in the country

• Season 2 Episode 13: The Buddy System

  Steve finds the e-mail Lauren sent to Ellen - and threatens to show its contents to Summer. Maeve urges Kaylie to undermine her therapist's authority, Emily discovers Chloe's secret, and Darby takes an unusual approach to team-building

• Season 2 Episode 12: Free People

  Kaylie gets more frustrated at being forced to stay in rehab, so Maeve offers her advice on how to lie her way out of the clinic. Steve introduces the girls to their new coach, Olympic medallist Darby Conrad, but Payson is unimpressed by her teaching skills. Meanwhile, Damon returns to Boulder

• Season 2 Episode 12: Free People

  Kaylie grows frustrated with her time in rehab, and longs to continue her training at the Rock. Meanwhile, Steve introduces the team's new coach - two-time Olympian Darby Conrad

  Kaylie receives treatment for her eating disorder and befriends a model with a similar problem. Meanwhile, Emily prepares to perform with Lauren and Payson at an exhibition in Denver - but her parole officer informs her that she must wear a monitoring device. • Season 2 Episode 10: At the Edge of the Worlds

  Sasha is suspended until further notice, and Ellen Beals takes his place as the girls' coach. The world team trials are moved forward, resulting in a clash with Emily's court date, while Summer and Steve support each other, and Austin worries about Kaylie

• Season 2 Episode 9: If Only...

  Razor and Chloe pick Emily up from jail after she is detained for stealing medication for Brian, and Steve is protective of Lauren when he finds out she slept with Carter. Sasha is concerned about Kaylie's weight, and Damon wants Emily to celebrate their successes

• Season 2 Episode 8: Rock Bottom

  Lauren is angry with Steve when she discovers he is funding Emily's scholarship, and Austin is concerned when Kaylie feels faint while leaving a car. Meanwhile, Payson spends more time with Sasha, but misjudges their relationship, and Emily steals medication for Brian

• Season 2 Episode 7: What Are You Made Of?

  Lauren begs Chloe not to tell her father that she had sex with Carter, while Kelly Parker becomes concerned by Kaylie's weight loss. Meanwhile, Payson attends her first ballet class and finds it difficult to be graceful

• Season 2 Episode 6: Party Gone Out of Bounds

  Lauren sees Chloe leaving the Tanner house after spending the night with Steve, and complains she is not setting a good example to the gymnasts. Kaylie works out obsessively in a bid to lose weight, while Sasha and Summer go on a secret date

• Season 2 Episode 5: I Won't Dance, Don't Ask Me

  Sasha tells the girls to perfect their floor routines as the national committee is just two months from picking the team, so Lauren hires the help of a star choreographer, and Payson watches ballet for inspiration. Meanwhile, Summer worries about her relationship with Sasha, and Kaylie asks Ronnie and Alex to help manage her career

• Season 2 Episode 4: And the Rocky Goes To...

  The Rock gears up for the annual awards banquet dinner, The Rocky Awards, and Lauren is determined to win the Miss Congeniality prize the best way she knows how - with bribery and cheating. But even after all the free smoothies, barrettes and massages, Lauren has work to do to get her way, and finds herself competing with a silent but strong contender in Emily

• Season 2 Episode 3: Battle of the Flexes

  Payson's morale is low when the girls return from their competition in France, and Sasha gives Kaylie a speech about leadership following Emily's suspension. Inspired, Kaylie gives Payson and Emily promise rings to remind them of their Olympic goal

• Season 2 Episode 2: All or Nothing

  The Rock girls head to France, and Lauren tries to persuade Emily to visit Damon in Paris. Payson performs her routine for the National Committee, hoping it will make them reverse their decision

• Season 2 Episode 1: Friends Close, Enemies Closer

  The girls are labelled the 'Rock Rebels' after defeating the Chinese team, and participate in a photo shoot to celebrate their rock 'n' roll image. However, Ellen Beals tells the gymnasts they have been suspended from the national squad, and Kaylie visits Carter to ask him to give their relationship another chance

• Season 2 Episode 19/20: What Lies Beneath; Worlds Apart

  Confidences are betrayed and everything is laid on the line in Rio as The Rock girls compete for the World's title.

Make It or Break It: Season 1 (2009 - 2010)

• Season 1 Episode 20: Are We Family?

  Kaylie spots Lauren and Carter embracing, and decides not to take part in the invitational event. The Chinese team arrives, ready to compete against the Rock girls, who try to persuade Kaylie to change her mind and help them overcome their rivals

• Season 1 Episode 19: The Only Thing We Have to Fear ...

  Lauren returns to the Rock after her trip to China, where she realised how much she needs her friends. Sasha asks Payson to help Emily overcome her fear of blind landings, while national committee member Ellen Beals' arrival shakes things up in the gym

• Season 1 Episode 18: The Great Wall

  Sasha tells the girls that the Chinese team is coming to town to compete at the Rock, but Summer discovers this is not the case. Meanwhile, Payson returns to training with Emily, Kaylie and Lauren

• Season 1 Episode 17: Hope and Faith

  Sasha tells Emily, Kaylie and Lauren that their chance of going to the Olympics depends on their ability to compete in China, and they try to prove their worth to Marty and the national committee during practice. Payson and her parents meet with Dr Clijster to discuss new surgical procedures, and Lauren lies about her father

• Season 1 Episode 16: Save the Last Dance

  Carter offers to help Kaylie to practise in Nicky's absence, and Lauren discovers some unsettling news about her father's love life. After learning that Lauren and Kaylie do not have a prom of their own to go to, Payson invites the Rock girls to attend the Taft High School ceremony

• Season 1 Episode 15: Loves Me, Loves Me Not

  Emily worries that she has been dumped when she does not hear from Damon for a few days, but Razor is concealing the fact that he called him to ask for help getting out of prison. Meanwhile, Nicky offers to help Kaylie practise a move before everyone arrives for training, which Lauren misconstrues as a sign of attraction between the pair

• Season 1 Episode 14: Are We Having Fun Yet?

  Emily becomes obsessed with blogs that pass comment on her, and she begins to allow the negative comments to affect her performance. Payson makes an enemy on her first day at school

• Season 1 Episode 13: California Girls

  Kaylie and Nicky are thrilled to be invited to an exclusive Los Angeles pool party after taking part in a photoshoot for a teen magazine. Payson returns to the Rock and is pleased when she and Emily are asked to join their friends in LA, hoping to meet a back specialist recommended by Nicky's father

• Season 1 Episode 12: Follow the Leader

  The national committee visits the Rock to announce that Marty will be coach instead of Sasha, leading Emily, Kaylie and Lauren to devise a plot to make him look bad and get him fired

• Season 1 Episode 11: The Eleventh Hour

  Payson feels cut off from her friends and family as she recuperates from a broken back, while Kaylie is enjoying the benefits of being national champion. MJ suggests she pose as a couple with Nicky to boost publicity, but he is sceptical of the idea

• Season 1 Episode 10: All That Glitters

  The team attends the national gymnastics competition in Boston and Payson is more determined than ever to beat Kelly Parker, despite her back pain. Kaylie is distracted by her father and Carter, and delivers a lacklustre performance, while Emily fears she is not good enough to compete

• Season 1 Episode 9: Where's Kaylie?

  The team struggles to regroup following the disastrous party at the Cruz mansion, and as Payson feels vulnerable with her back injury, the reappearance of Chloe's ex-boyfriend Joe causes upset for Emily, while Lauren faces the possible return of her mother. Kaylie disappears after Carter comes clean about his infidelity, so the others try to track her down

• Season 1 Episode 8: All's Fair in Love, War and Gymnastics

  The Cruz family hosts a send-off party before the team goes to the nationals, and Payson takes some anti-inflammatory medicine from a fellow gymnast for her back pain. Meanwhile, Summer tries a new tactic with Lauren, who is planning to break up Carter and Kaylie for good

• Season 1 Episode 7: Run, Emily, Run

  Payson, Kaylie and Lauren are introduced to MJ, a leading agent and consultant for the American Gymnastic Federation. Emily is excluded from the nationals and is forbidden from training in the gym following her rebellious dismount, and Mark is offered his old job back in Minnesota

  Emily tries a difficult movement when Sasha invites Marty and the Denver club to the gym for a competition before the nationals, and Payson competes against her rival Kelly Parker. Meanwhile, Lauren deliberately spoils her bar routine after learning that Steve proposed to Summer

• Season 1 Episode 5: Like Mother, Like Daughter, Like Supermodel

  Kaylie interrogates Lauren about the mystery guy at the party, before being asked to take part in a mother-daughter fashion show to raise funds for the gym. Later, Kaylie decides to have sex with Carter in an attempt to shed her good girl image, and Emily has boy troubles of her own

  Sasha calls the girls for a severe workout on Sunday morning as punishment for going out the night before, and Carter admits to Leo that he and Lauren got close at the party. Meanwhile, Sasha forces the team to write down their issues with one another and read them aloud

  Steve heads to England to plead with an Olympic star to coach the team. Worried that gymnastics will soon consume their lives, Kaylie persuades Payson and Emily to go to a party, where Lauren finds herself drawn to a drunken Carter

  With the gym in turmoil following Marty's departure, Payson and Kaylie set out to discover why he abandoned them just before the nationals. Alex and Ronnie host an emergency meeting to discuss the Rock's finances and how to replace Marty
