Concluding the lavish adaptation of RD Blackmore's novel of young lovers, brutal outlaws and warring families in 17th-century Exmoor. Lorna has been rescued from becoming the unwilling bride of her ruthless cousin Carver, but he won't give up easily, and together with a gang of murderous villains pursues the sweethearts to the Ridd farm where a bloody battle ensues. Newcomer Amelia Warner stars as the eponymous heroine, with Aidan Gillen, Martin Clunes, Barbara Flynn and Michael Kitchen
