Long Way Down: Season 1

  • Season 1 Episode 10: Botswana to Capetown

    The duo briefly go their separate ways when Ewan McGregor's wife joins them in Malawi, with Charley choosing to take a more dangerous route into Zambia. They are reunited at the Victoria Falls and after saying goodbye to Eve, it's on to Botswana and the final leg of their journey. However, there's still more drama to come when Charley and Claudio collide on the motorway to their final destination, Cape Town. Last in the series

The riders overcome poor visibility to catch their ferry from Egypt, though conditions worsen when they arrive in Sudan.     Ewan McGregor, Charley Boorman and the team continue their journey through Europe and into northern Africa. Tension mounts as they fall behind schedule and are forced to race to catch the weekly ferry that will take them down the Nile into Sudan. Later, further problems arise when they are caught in a sandstorm while travelling along the coast of Libya
