Her mother and father Julie and Rob are unable to agree on the best way to discipline their daughter, and their arguments are beginning to weigh heavily on their own relationship. Father and son act as if they're the best of friends, leaving mum struggling to handle his violent temper tantrums - and with a baby to bring up at the same time, she needs all the help and advice she can get

  • Season 3 Episode 11: The Cooper Family

    Clinical psychologist Dr Tanya Byron comes to the rescue of a young mother who is having trouble imposing a sense of authority on her two sons. Seven-year-old Jay constantly picks fights with younger brother Owen and their playful confrontations quickly spiral out of control

    Family relationships expert Rachel Morris comes to the aid of a single mother with a four-year-old tearaway, showing how she can keep the youngster under control and let him know who's boss

    Family relationships expert Rachel Morris helps a couple win the battle of wills against their six-year-old son, who constantly vents his anger and aggression on them and his younger brother, but behaves like an angel in front of other people. Rachel discovers his behaviour is a consequence of his mum and dad's tendency to smack and shout as a punishment

  • Season 3 Episode 7: The Elson Family

    Dr Tanya Byron comes to the aid of a couple whose third pregnancy resulted in triplets - and now the youngsters have turned three, the parents are tearing their hair out coping with five children. Tanya decides the solution is a sterner exercise of authority - but organisation isn't the family's strong point

    Psychologist Dr Stephen Briers helps Mick and Claire Butler win the battle of wills against their five-year-old daughter Jessica. Born with mild cerebral palsy, the youngster is accustomed to getting her own way, with twin brother James often suffering as a result. The parents receive much-needed advice on how to get the youngster into bed in the evening - without her screaming until her nose bleeds

  • Season 3 Episode 5: The Angell Family

    Dr Tanya Byron comes to the aid of the Angell family, who have two serious problems on their hands. Mum Sue finds it impossible to cope with her three-year-old daughter Emily's tendency to throw hour-long tantrums, while Emily's father Ivan struggles to get along with his stepdaughter Bethany

  • Season 3 Episode 5: The Mellor Family

    Rachel Morris comes to the aid of a Huddersfield family planning to emigrate to the US, but who are unwilling to start a new life until they've dealt with their daughter's behaviour. Five-year-old Kerryn is rude, aggressive and never does as she's told, and her parents are at their wits' end - but the relationships expert soon spots the reason behind her disruptive attitude

    Dr Tanya Byron helps Nigel and Bianca, who are at the end of their tether due to the constant fighting among their three children. Tanya's first step is to introduce a 'sleep routine', which Nigel and Bianca doubt will ever persuade the youngsters to go to bed at a sensible hour

  • Season 2 Episode 3: The Georgiou Family

    Dr Tanya Byron comes to the aid of a couple with three children who are having trouble controlling their wilful daughter. The four-year-old has terrible tantrums, wets herself night and day and is prone to lash out in retaliation to any form of discipline. To make matters worse, she still insists on being breastfed against her mother's wishes and rebels if she doesn't get her own way

    Psychologist Tanya Byron comes to the rescue of single mum Barbara Carrera, who has reached the end of her tether with her spoilt four-year-old Keanu
