A pregnant Muslim student is murdered, and initial inquiries suggest the crime was prompted by her efforts to break up a clash between two ethnic groups. However, Logan and Wheeler later learn the victim was secretly dating an Italian-American against the wishes of her parents, who had organised an arranged marriage - and as they investigate the animosity between the two families, more blood is shed
